The brief

Satirical government "compliance" initiative. Deadpan testimonials, humor in the over-production. Orchestrate scene generation with the 302.ai keys from the monster arena project.

Process

1 · Recon. Located the 302.ai key in monster-arena-v2/settings.json (stored as the OpenAI key — same account). Verified alive (HTTP 200). Read the working video302Service.js to mirror request shapes. No secrets copied into the new project.
2 · Creative. Bible + 90s master script (13-shot table) + 5 cutdowns + machine-readable scenes.json (15 scenes).
3 · Site. Live satirical brand site: harmony bar, score count-up, tiers, 9 benefits, testimonials, score checker, FAQ, calm interaction layer (Harmony Event console log, reassurance toasts, behavioral nudges), + a film room.
4 · Pipeline. render.mjs — gpt-image-1 stills → imgbb hosting → 302.ai Ark reference-to-video (Seedance). Resumable.

The bug

First run: all 15 stills failed with a parameter error. Cause: I doubled the /v1 segment in the image-gen URL. One-line fix (monster-arena calls /images/generations off the base URL, not /v1/images/generations). Re-ran clean.

Honest status

12 / 15 stills done and live on the site (pip, city, fast lane, lamp, scoreboard, coin, phone, doorbell, quiet room, linda, derek, nguyen).
3 stills failed — Marcus, Priya & Sam, Tamika — the 302.ai account returned insufficient balance (HTTP 401) mid-run.
0 video clips generated yet.
Site + film room auto-populate from manifest.json as assets arrive.

Flags & next move

The shared 302.ai account needs a balance top-up before any further generation. Once topped up: node render.mjs --still-only finishes the last 3, then render Tamika + 1–2 others as a video proof of concept before committing to all 11 clips. Default video model is Seedance (cheapest for iteration); alternatives already wired in monster-arena are Fal Kling, Vertex Veo 3, and Sora 2.
