## 1. The Bit

`comply.gg` is a fictional state-run "lifestyle platform." The `.gg` is doing three
things at once: **G**ood **G**overnment, **G**reat **G**ame (you're winning!), and
the gamer sign-off "gg" — *good game, you lost, thanks for playing.*

It is sold the way a modern tech startup sells itself: pastel brand palette, a
soothing narrator, bouncy royalty-free "inspirational" music, and citizens who
deliver horror with the warm cadence of a Peloton instructor.

**The single rule of the joke:** no one in the world of comply.gg knows they are in
a comedy. Everyone is calm, grateful, and slightly too still. The dystopia is never
named — it is only *described as a benefit.*

- Apple's "1984" commercial, but inverted — it *celebrates* the grey conformity.
- WeWork / Better.com / FTX investor sizzle reels (sincerity-maxxing).

  that never turns off and "watches you sleep, so you don't have to." Linda says
  she's never slept better.
- **The Harmony Dividend™** — a monthly stipend paid in ComplyCoin™, spendable at
  any Bureau-approved vendor (all vendors are Bureau-approved).
- **The Reassurance Tones™** — a gentle ambient broadcast, 24/7, at a frequency
  "just below noticing." *"You stop hearing them after the first week. And then —
  and this is the beautiful part — you miss them when they stop."*
- **The Citizen Doorbell™** — a doorbell camera that points *inward.* "For your
  protection. We've never felt safer."
- **The Flagship Phone (Free)** — runs only the comply.gg app. "It's the only app I
  need. It's the only app there is."
- **Mood Optimization™** — enrolled citizens report 0% sadness. "We haven't been sad
  in fourteen months. We'd forgotten what it was for."
- **The Quiet Rooms™** — *voluntary* soundproof suites for "recharging." Enrollment
  is optional. Subjects typically decline to leave. This is framed as a success.
- **Compatibility Quotient™** — government-certified matchmaking. "We met on
  comply.gg. We've never been happier. We've never been anything else."
- **The Soft Recall** — when a memory is no longer *harmonious*, it is gently set
  down. "I used to have a brother. And now I have *room* for joy."

Every frame obeys these rules so the whole campaign reads as one over-produced world:

- **Lighting:** soft, diffuse, overcast-studio. No hard shadows. Slightly *too* bright on the face.
- **Palette:** mint, cream, oat, slate. One plum accent max.
- **Backgrounds:** seamless paper or a softly blurred mint/cream interior. Immaculate. No clutter, no texture, no personality.
- **Subject:** centered, eye-level, looking just *off* lens (at an unseen "counselor").
- **Desaturation:** gentle. Skin reads slightly powdery, almost cosmetic.
- **Motion (video):** the golden rule is **almost no motion.** A slow 3–5% push-in.
